Lyn Varty is the Founder of Connections Healthcare Centre and Pause Retreats, and Managing Director of Connections Counselling Perth for over 11 years. Lyn also manages and coordinates Hope Alive Australia and New Zealand.

 

She is also a well-sought-after Christian Counsellor, Supervisor, Speaker, and Trainer with 32 years of experience in helping people through difficult and complex life circumstances. She brings a wealth of personal and professional experience into a therapeutic setting. She has studied extensively and is best known for her work in neglect, abuse, and all forms of pregnancy loss, including abortion. Her clients describe her as very compassionate, genuine, insightful, and committed to helping people navigate life’s difficulties.

 

Her heart is to give hope and inspire others through Christ-centred care. It is not God’s desire for us to go through the motions and merely survive but he wants us to thrive.

 

Lyn has found over the last 30 years that it is extremely beneficial and vital to take time out, to be still and surrender. God has ministered, healed, restored, encouraged, inspired, and given her creative ideas, refreshed and drawn her closer to the Heavenly Father, where He has showered her in His love and grace.

Lyn has been married for 43 years with two children and three grandchildren. She loves walking, jigsaw puzzles, hanging out with friends, family and playing with her grandchildren.
